  1. How do you ship your food so it stays fresh?
    CocoMeal is frozen immediately after it is created.  It is then packaged with frozen gel packs to withstand between 4 - 5 days of shipping, which is usually what it takes to arrive at your door.

  2. What if my package arrives and its thawed?
    CocoMeal is fully cooked and we use no ingredients that spoil immediately when thawed. If your package is still semi-cold, there should be no harm to the food. If it has been more than 7 days since it has shipped from our facility, please call us.

  3. How long can I store CocoMeal?
    Much like the frozen food you store for yourself, CocoMeal will still retain its freshness for up to 6 months in your freezer and at least 7 days in the refrigerator.

  4. How to serve CocoMeal?
    Some of our clients feed their dogs thawed CocoMeal, while others (including us) tend to warm it up in the microwave for approximately 30 seconds before feeding. If you choose to heat it, please stir it after heating and don't be afraid to touch it to confirm its not too hot for your dog.

  5. What is a puppy, according to CocoMeals food selection?
    Its generally accepted that a puppy is a dog that is between the ages of weening and 2 years old. During this time period their digestive systems are evolving and they need special attention in order to transform into an adult dog. Please use CocoMeal Puppy Food at this stage for a healthy dog.

  6. When to use CocoMeal Sensitive Dog food?
    Much like humans, some dogs have a hard time processing certain foods such as beef. In most cases this can be evidenced by diarrhea in your dogs stool. If upon the advice of your veterinarian or you feel your dog needs to be placed on a diet that is is easy to digest, use CocoMeal Sensitive Dog food.

  7. What to expect when changing your dogs diet?
    The moment you feed your dog CocoMeal, you should immediately notice a smile on their face! As with any change in your dogs diet, its not uncommon for them to go through an adjustment period. Their digestive system may not be used to the ingredients causing your dogs stool to be soft. This is to be expected and should only last a few days.

Our Policies

 

Delivery/Shipping Policy

Orders are processed within 24-48 hours of receipt and most products are shipped within one to four business days*. Holidays are the busy season for our business; please allow up to 7 days for your order to be shipped during that time of year. Our products take additional time because they are made to order.

Cutoff time for order placement is 10AM (Pacific Standard Time) each business day. Average shipping time is (3-5) business days via our choice of carriers.

For orders shipped: A $6 surcharge will be added for shipping frozen CocoMeal, to cover our cost in addition to regular shipping charges.

Products will be shipped using a carrier of our choice. We currently ship to the continental US states only (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).  

*Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

 

Return Policy

Returns should be made by reporting any spoiled or missing items as soon as possible. You may only do this by calling us directly or by contacting us through e-mail. Due to the nature of the product, we will never physically accept a box for return. Once the box has been delivered we cannot take it back. When you contact us we will credit your account or replace the items in question. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. All invoices are considered accurate after 7 days. After 7 days have passed we will not accept any returns.

 

Refund Policy

CocoMeal abides by all laws regarding refunds and adherers to the following Consumer Affairs policy:

[1] You are entitled to a refund (less 15% administration fee) if a product you purchased:
[a] has a fault you could not have known about when you bought them; or
[b] does not do the job you were led to believe they would; or
[c] are not as described to you (it is important to have a written description).
[2] You are not entitled to a refund if:
[a] there is nothing wrong with the goods, but you have changed your mind and/or for whatever reason are unable to attend; or
[b] the goods were bought for someone else who doesn’t want them; or
[c] the goods were damaged after they were delivered; or
[d] you knew, or could reasonably have known, about any faults when you purchased the goods.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel your order you may do so no later than 10am PST the day before your order is scheduled to be processed for delivery. If an order is en route, your order may not be cancelled. To place a cancellation request, you may contact our office via telephone and speak with one of our customer service representatives or send us an email. The email must be confirmed in order to process the cancellation. Any cancellations after the shipping deadline are subject to a 100% charge. If a refund is granted, no shipping expense will be refunded. The refund will only be based on the product received.

 

Automatic Monthly Billing Policy

If you select a monthly food plan where by we will ship your food to you approximately every 30 days, we will charge your credit card each month for the complete agreed amount including shipping charges.

 

Cancellation of monthly program

You can easily cancel your monthly program by notifying CocoMeal either in writing via email, regular mail or by telephone. Your written cancellation of automatic billing must be postmarked 14 days prior to the automatic billing date if sent via regular USPS mail. If your cancellation notice is sent via email, it must be received no sooner than 7 days before your scheduled shipment. If you cancel your monthly plan via speaking with one of our customer service representative, you may be able to do so up to 4 days before your scheduled shipment. You agree if CocoMeal is not notified within these terms you will be liable for the agreed payment amount and automatically billed as usual.

 

Privacy Statement

CocoMeal (which means company name plc and their associated companies) is committed to protecting your privacy when you use our on-line, telephone or other services ("Services"). In this policy we explain how and why we collect your information, what we do with it and what controls you have over our use of it. From time to time, we add or change functions, features or products to our Web Sites or add or change Services. This, and our commitment to protecting the privacy of your personal information, may result in periodic changes to this Privacy Policy. As a result, please remember to refer back to this Privacy Policy regularly to review any amendments.

What data do we collect and how do we use it?

CocoMeal collects and processes information about you in order to:

(i) identify you each time you visit our Web Site or wish to have a Service provided;
(ii) process orders or applications submitted by you;
(iii) improve our Services and Web Sites
(iv) Customize your experience, for example, provide advertisements that we think are relevant to you and which support any specific requests for information you may make through keyword searches;
(v) carry out research on the demographics, interests and behavior of all of our customers; and
(vi) send you information we think you may find useful, including information about new CocoMeal products and services.

In addition, when you order certain goods or services from our Web Sites, we will need to know your credit/payment card number and expiration date.

Log files/IP addresses

When you visit our Web Sites, we automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically recognized by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer our Web Sites and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.

 

Non personal information

We may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of internet browsers you use or the site from which you linked to our Web Sites. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on our Web Sites. We may from time to time supply the owners or operators of third party sites from which it is possible to link to our Web Sites with information relating to the number of users linking to our Web Sites from their sites. You cannot be identified from this information.

CocoMeal places a great importance on the security of all information associated with our customers. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of customer data under our control.
